FAQ BY THE SISTERS

1. “What if I don’t feel ready to wear the hijab full-time?”

Answer:

It’s okay to feel unsure. Hijab is a journey, it wont always be easy. Take small but impactful steps. Ask Allah for strength and sincerity, and remember, you're not failing—you’re growing.

2. “I want to wear hijab, but I’m afraid of what people will say.”

Answer:
Fear of judgment is real, but your peace and connection with Allah come first. One may talk today but forget tomorrow, another may talk tomorow but stay silent today....people will always talk. Wear it for you and your Creator. The right people will respect you more, not less.

  3. “Is it wrong if I only wear it sometimes?”

  Answer:
Consistency is the goal, but we all have ups and downs. If   you're trying, that effort matters. Keep learning, make dua,   and surround yourself with support. Don’t let guilt push you   away from hijab—let it bring you closer.

4. “How do I deal with negative comments or stares?”

Answer:
Practice responses that are polite but firm. You don’t owe anyone an explanation, but if you choose to respond, say: “This is part of my faith and identity.” Inner confidence grows with time. Remind yourself that Allah sees your effort.

5. “What if I don’t ‘look good’ in hijab?”

Answer:
Beauty isn’t limited to what we’re used to seeing. Hijab doesn’t hide your beauty—it

reframes it. Try different styles, materials, and colours until you feel comfortable. Confidence will follow how you carry it.

6. “Can I still be fashionable while wearing hijab?”

Answer:
Absolutely! Modesty and fashion can coexist. There are countless hijabi fashionistas who embrace style while staying true to their values. Hijab isn’t about suppressing your expression—it’s about refining it.

7. “I took off my hijab and feel guilty—what should I do?”

Answer:
Guilt can be a sign of your conscience, not failure. No one knows your heart and intentions but for Allah, trust him with his plan. Don’t let shaytaan trap you in shame. Reflect on why you felt overwhelmed, and rebuild your intention at your pace.

8. “I’m scared I’ll never be ‘good enough’ to wear hijab.”

Answer:
Hijab isn’t a badge of perfection—it’s part of the journey. You are good enough because you’re trying. Every act of obedience, even with fear or struggle, is loved by Allah. You don’t have to be perfect— no one ever is.

9. “I took off my hijab and now I want to return. Will Allah forgive me?”

Answer:
Yes, absolutely. Allah is the Most Merciful. Return with love, not shame. Your past does not define your future. What matters is where your heart is now.

10. “I only wear hijab because my family makes me. Does it still count?”

Answer:
Obligation without intention is hard to maintain. But the act still carries reward. Try to explore your own connection to hijab. Learn about it, reflect on it, InshaAllah it gets easier.

11. “Can I wear hijab even if I still struggle with other parts of Islam?”

Answer:
Yes. We all struggle in different areas. Hijab can be a step toward becoming stronger in your faith. Don’t wait to be ‘perfect’ to start wearing it—perfection is a myth. Progress is what matters.

12. “How do I deal with negative or Islamophobic comments?”

Answer:
Respond calmly if you feel safe, or walk away if not. Remind yourself: your hijab is a sign of strength, not a weakness. You're representing something beautiful.
